KALAADHAANAM
Kalaadhaanam simply translates as “art donation”. A simple concept envisioned by our founder and principal Kavitha Jayaraman.

Our mission is “Seva through Vidya” or “Teach to reach”. We raise funds for various social agencies working specifically towards improving the lives of underprivileged kids, through the medium of Carnatic music education.
The students contribute every month directly to various social funding initiatives identified by Kalaadhaanam through a quarterly funding program via various crowd funding portals.

Since its inception in 2017, Kalaadhaanam has supported 11 charities in India focused on mainly on education and development of children and has raised over USD 45,000.

Our long term goal is to have art educators around the globe join the movement and enable an ecosystem through arts education that helps fund small scale NGOs in every country.
